Schedules will vary slightly among our various locations but generally, they will follow the following schedule. You will be notified if your child has class any time during the following breaks.
Classes will run from September through May with the following schedule:
Thanksgiving Break: November 19th-24th
Winter Break: December 24th through January 5th
Spring Break: March 11th-16th

*KDAC follows the NISD school calendar in regards to no classes…. Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break, as well as any other school holidays observed by individual school locations.
The total value of lost dance days due to holiday or holiday breaks has been considered and is reflected in the monthly tuition amount. There are no additional refunds or credits for missed dance days due to holidays. KDAC follows Northside ISD for weather cancellations/delays. We will do our best to schedule makeup classes due to weather cancellations/delays.
When can my child enroll?
Kinderdance programs offer year round open enrollment. Occasionally there is a waiting list if a class is full. However, notifications will be made when space is available for new students.
How long will my child be enrolled in the class? How do I cancel my enrollment?
We require a 2-week notice when canceling your child from class. Billing will continue until we are notified. We hope you will never want to leave, but if you do please email email@example.com and let us know!
1. You will be responsible for your child’s tuition if cancellation is made after the 1st of the month.
2. We will continue to take your child to class, even if payment is late or your child doesn’t have/bring their dance attire or shoes for class.
3. May tuition is due in full in order to participate in our spring recital (Kinderdance/KinderCombo students).
How much is tuition?
Prices at our teaching locations can vary slightly.
30-minute class: $40/month
45-minute class: $47/month
60-minute class: $52/month
There is a $25 annual registration fee per family.
What should my child wear in class?
For your child’s safety and comfort, we require the proper footwear and movement wear to be worn during class.
Depending on the location and the class type your child is enrolled determines what we recommend as class attire. A detailed Parent Info Packet will be emailed to you upon your child’s class enrollment. Please contact our office for further details.
We offer quality dancewear (see our Store) and will deliver directly to your child’s school or you can purchase on your own via local or online stores for CLASS ATTIRE. *See Parent Packet/contact us for a list of specific items needed before purchasing*
Performance and Special Events may require a specific costume or dance attire to be worn. These items must be purchased directly through KDAC, unless otherwise stated on the Event Registration.
How often are the classes?
Typically, each class is held once a week at the designated time scheduled. If a make-up class is needed, parents will be notified of the date.
How do I pay my monthly tuition?
All tuition must be paid via our online system; Classjuggler. Debit and Credit Cards are accepted. NO checks or cash will be accepted by our staff/instructors/or class locations staff.
We are happy to assist you and take payment over the phone once you have established an account for your child.
Where do I register my child?
Registration is accepted through our online registration system.
Does my child participate in a recital?
Yes! A Spring Recital (Kinderdance & KinderCombo students) is offered for parents and families to see what their child has learned through the school year. Families will have the joy of seeing their child demonstrate their accomplishments alongside their fellow students. Our recitals are designed with the young child in mind with a more intimate setting.
* No bright lights and looking out into a dark audience.
* Students will showcase 5 to 6 dances and skills in a smaller group setting.
* No sitting through a 4-hour recital! Most are 25-30 minutes per group.
* Special recital costume
* Award presentation
* Guaranteed front row seating for one (1) student family member to capture
photos and video of their dancer! General seating for other guests.
* Professional photographer available for individual dancer photo (optional)
Kindertots/KinderMotion Students will have an opportunity to showcase their learning and skills developed during a scheduled Parent Class Visit Day, held mid to late May. Schedule TBA.
Can I come watch the classes?
Yes, we have scheduled Parent Class Visit Days held usually in December, May and also at the end of the Summer Session. *Subject to availability and coordinating with school. Families are notified via email these scheduled visit days.
Unexpected visitors are a distraction to the class dynamics (especially to preschoolers). We greatly appreciate your understanding and assistance in maintaining the best learning environment possible for all students.
There are several optional opportunities throughout the year that Kinderdance & KinderCombo students can participate in events/performances.
Progress Reports are provided in December and in May with the skills your child has learned and continues to develop.
Daily Notes are provided weekly with your child’s participation, class behavior and social interaction.
Monthly Newsletters are sent via email and posted to our site.
Is tuition prorated if my child is absent or for holiday breaks?
Tuition is based on a full school year of dancing. Therefore, there is no need for prorating tuition. All tuitions are based on an average of four (4) lessons per month. Months with five lessons are considered to balance against those months with three lessons (i.e., those with holidays). Sorry, no reimbursement is given for student absences.
Tuition & Other Fees: Refund/Return Policy
Tuition and registration fees are Non-Refundable. Notification to withdraw from a class must be received in writing by KDAC 2-weeks prior to the next billing month in order to stop tuition payment for the following month. No exceptions. Cancellations can be made in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org

Dance Wear and Costume Refund/Return Policy
Terms and Conditions
With the exception of packaged tights and Specialty Costumes/Event Attire, we will gladly accept returns or exchanges within 10 days. These conditions apply:
|• All Items Must Be Clean, Free Of Odor and Hair, and Show Absolutely No Signs Of Wear
• All Tags Must Be Attached and/or It Must Include the Original Undamaged Box Or Packaging
• Packaged Tights Are Considered Intimate Apparel and Cannot Be Returned Or Exchanged for Health Reasons.
|• Items That Are Sold As a “Special Order” Are Final, and Cannot Be Returned Or Exchanged Except In Cases Of Defective Workmanship
• All Returns Or Exchanges Must Be Returned- In a Box/Bag That Protects the Returned Item and the Original Packaging.
All orders will be delivered within 7 days (sooner if possible) to your child’s dance class. If any items are out of stock you will be notified about any item not currently available to discuss all options regarding your order. Some items may be on back-order and take longer than anticipated to provision. In this case, you will be notified of the situation, and given updates as information becomes available to us. Feel free to contact us at any time to verify or check on the status of your order.
